1) Both bands were fronted by a (or some) Doors members (s)

2) ... but the Doors members weren't the lead singers (OK, Ray sang parts of two songs... out of 17, but that doesn't make him the lead singer per say, LOL)

3) Both bandsreleased only two albums

4) Both bands released their albums in consecutive years

5) Both bands had line-up changes in between albums, including, in each case, a change in lead singer

6) None of the albums sound like a Doors off-shoot per say (maybe an aspect, of a song or two, but not overall)

7) Niether band had much commercial success sad.gif

8) A couple of months ago, I got my hands on each of the bands two albums ! wink.gif

9) ... and, ever since, I've thoroughly enjoyed playing all four of those albums !

Here's some others:

1) The second album was not as good as the first.

2) I can imagine Robby and John being part of the Nite City band but I can't imagine Ray being part of the Butts Band.

3) I'll bet neither band ever thought you would buy their albums.

I'm with you on 1) and 3)... but some of the keyboard parts on the the first Butts Band album do sound very Ray-ish...
