You can go to the Discography section of Ray's site to see the year. I don't have the exact dates on there though. I think it was 1974 (edit) and 2001.

I already checked a number of sites, and that's why I was asking... most list it as 1974, but other sources like Ray's site and the liner notes for "The whole thing started with rock n' roll..." list it as being from 1973...

I could actually tell you the exact DAY it was released, but I'd have to go find the album high up in a closet somewhere. I'd say it was around April of 1974 though. Give or take a month.

It was reviewed in the May 23, 1974 issue of Rolling Stone.
