ray has a certain way of speaking that just demands attention and is inspiring. i first became a doors fan back in my college days in the early 90's, but rays "myth and reality" CD just brought it all home for me - set my fandom in stone so to speak. i hope he does another spoken word CD someday - he must have a hundred great new stories with THE DOORS OF THE 21ST CENTURY (why do i always wanna scream that shit?).

Ray Manzarek for President 2008!! I'd rather have a learned individual who has inhaled than this asshole who is hell bent on staying the course no matter how fucked up the plan is...

Good interview. Any guesses on who the overweight guy with the good voice is that auditioned for the band?

Ray is such a great story teller, always uses cool adjectives, projects his voice, talks real nice, just fun to listen to, hes real cool
