http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=35...34260&hl=enNyree and I went to Nashville to watch my daughter play softball at TSU. Long story short. We stayed with my sister about 25 miles from Nashville and went to a little club because she knew the singer of the band that was playing.
They were gracious enough to let me sing RHB with them.

ALRIGHT NOW!!! "Let it roll baby roll all night long..."
You got it going on door 71.
My personal experience w/LMF occurred last month at a Phoenix Az library parking lot.
Picture this...I rolled up in my Morrison mobile (Jim/Doors sticker back window) while proceeding
to get out of my car when out of nowhere a group of boys (10-12 years old) screamed out The Doors!!!
The Doors!!! They made quite a rukus upon seeing the sticker. A father was accompanying them.
I asked him what their favorite Doors' song was? They screamed out LMF!!!
I don't know what came over me, maybe the spirit of "JIM" & broke out into LMF. I encouraged them to sing
with me, it was an AWESOME experience for the moment, as a choir of voices filled the Phoenix public
library singing LMF!!! The Spirit/Music of THE DOORS is alive & kicking EVERYWHERE!!!
Peace

That is great! I'll bet you'll never forget that night.
One of our other board members decided to show his love for the Doors at his high school talent show a few years ago. Ladies and gentlemen.. may I present to you.. our own AK47:

Thanks everyone. I fully expected them to end at about 4 and half minutes but they kept going. I finally went over and ask one of the guitar players how he wanted to end it.
I never noticed the girls...................but you gotta love lesbians.

you didn't notice the girls?? man, i forgot what the hell song you were singing real quick after that.
i was impressed with the jam that turned into "how many more times" for a few seconds, then just fluidly went into the 'let it roll' section. you did the vocals some justice because it's obvious you're a hardcore fan - a friend of mine has a band whose singer is always way too mellow on vocals, when they do roadhouse blues, it makes me wanna chuck my beer at him - either sing it right with the necessary energy, or sing a fuckin' barry manilow song while i head out the door.
i like the story Raven had... it's not everyday that kids (of all people) recognize and get excited about the doors.

Thanks Billy and Mike.
I was nervous as shit waiting the 3 songs after their break. I probably pissed 4 times.
I had just met the singer about 30 minutes before. It was cool as fuck. I just let them jam and trade leads for a couple of minutes before asking him " Hey man......how do you wanna end this thing. lol I loved the way they just flowed into it as I went to the mike.

Wow you've got a great singing voice! Sounded pretty Morrisonesque to me. It's too bad the sound levels were off so the band was drowning you out some with its playing. Lots of musicians like to do that unfortionately.
