i'm a 20 minute walk from the vic, so i'm definately in for meeting up with as many of you guys as possible

and...whatever you do, dont park in the guitar center/home depot garage. friend of mine learned the hard way that theyre hardcore about towing last year after the cult...

d'oh! Tickets are a pain, but being towed is the worst.

I got to the area really early and snagged a spot on the street for the Cult show. I've been in the area since then and have had less luck with parking.

When do shows typically start at the Vic?

the ones ive been to there have all been doors open at 7, show starts 8-ish, but, like everywhere else, depends on the band

If you get there early in the afternoon, you're likely to hear the soundcheck from outside.

There is a backstage door that opens out into an alley right next to the theatre. When the band is soundchecking, you can hear things pretty clearly if you hang out in that alley.

When do tickets go on sale? It's a little over a month away.

unfortunately i can't make it to any of the shows... just a matter of bad timing. i'm hoping to commission ty to record some drums on a track of mine sometime in the forseeable future, so at least i have that to look forward to. so, to everybody traveling the globe to see riders, you suck, i hope brett gets drunk and falls off the stage on you

The last time I saw D21C it was at the Congress in Chicago. Amazingly I got to stand right in front of the stage, five feet away from my Idol, the great Ray Manzarek, and I thought NOTHING could ever top that.

Last time I was at the Vic, I hid my camera to get in, but once I was in, they didn't give a shit about anyone taking pictures.

I think there is a 50 % chance they will check your id.....since it is a Monday, i dont think they will have a guy at the door checking...
