Allright, last night, I saw one the greatest shows in my life. I'm only 21 years old, but I've seen over a 100 of legendary artists. No Eagles, Stones, Springsteen, Fogerty, BB King or could match this performance. Before the show, I already had a good feeling about it, but man. It just had everything , it was fun, it was loose and it was true rock 'n roll. Sometimes when I closed my eyes I thought I was back in 1969, visiting the Fillmore East. All those bands from the sixties/seventies eras playing clean, neat rock n roll these days. Polished. But not The Doors (yes I like to call them The Doors, cause I feel I saw a Doors show last night). At moments, I could truly feel Jim Morrisons spirit flying through the venue, as if he crawled into Ian Ashtbury. Now I'm saying unholy things, I know, but it just felt that way. Man, Ian Ashtbury, what a replacement for Jim. With respect, with honour and with the rock 'n roll spirit of The Doors in his heart. Amazing vocalist.
And what a musicians, from the first song, it was like a great psychedelic party. We smoked and we smoked, with Ray Manzarek as our spiritual advisor.

And then the humor, one of my friends mentioned: If Ray Manzarek would give his own show and asked a 100 bucks for it, I still would go.

Ray Manzarek: Ah no man. He’s kidding, we’re all in hippieville here. Hippieville, man!
Ian Ashtbury: Yeah you’re right, I’m only kidding.

yeah it's weird, something with my memory. it won't work with school tough, maybe that's because I don't give a damn about school anything related to music is stored in my brain, they call me the walking music encyclopedie. I tried to stop it with smoking pot, but it won't work

They used to do it at the end of Moonlight Drive, perhaps that was it?
