Robby, if I'm not mistaken wore a Packers jersey at a Green Bay concert. Ray's from Chicago so maybe he's a Bears fan

I know Ray is a huge basketball fan. He actually seems to get pretty into it. Not exactly sure about the other guys in the band. I do remember Robby wearing a Packers shirt to a D21C concert in Detroit though.

I'm sure all the Lions fan in the crowd loved that.

I coach a new pro football team in Ohio and I was curious if Riders would be willing to lend their endorsement? Nothing is more balls to the wall than indoor football and Riders on the Storm. It would be great way to promote their up coming new album. Any thoughts on this?
By the way, if anyone is interested in being a partner with our team please feel free to let me know and I can get you involved.

It sure would be cool if the band would be a sponsor for my team. We could post the band name in our arena and play the music for pregame and half time as well as promote their album they will be working on. Like I said, what could be more balls to the wall than Riders and football?

Yes, the Detroit show was immediately after their Green Bay show, which at the time, D21C said was the loudest crowd they had played to. We were just showing our love--we love Riders up here in Green Bay (and our Packers---even though they are stinkin' this year!).

Dear fellow Doors fans,
Good evening. The other evening, Friday, November 11, 2005, I was at a high school football game
and during halftime, the marching band from one of the school's did a song dedication to the Doors.
The song list was as follows:
1. "Touch Me"
2. "Peace Frog"
3. "Love Her Madly"
4. "Light My Fire"
This is the first time I heard a Doors tribute from a marching Band.
Congratulations to the Doors!!
Cheers,
Beyond From Within

And back to the original question. I'm not sure if any of the guys are die-hard football fans, but I am. On Monday night, tune into Monday Night Football and know that FamiliarFreak will be there cheering on the Packers!

Sorry I have been away so long. to Answer a question. I coach in the Great Lakes Indoor Football League. it sure would be great to have them play after game and keep the place going all night. I am sure we could all find a soul kitchen to sleep after the show.

Ian is actually an Everton fan. Everton and Liverpool have a healthy rivalry to say the least. Looks like Everton my be on the verge of relegation. Roy Keane would help...Up the Pool!!! You never walk alone.

Last time I read about it Ian was an Everton supporter, and Billy Duffy a Manchester City supporter.
To give you guys a good view about it, when The Cult was in Brazil in 2000 to promote the upcoming Beyond Good and Evil, they were given a soccer + bbq day, in a club in Sao Paulo. One team was The Cult & its roadies / crew, and the other team was a brazilian rock band, Tităs & their crew. The Cult & its people won the match, 5 x 3, and, according to a friend of mine who was there, Billy and Ian were really running all over the place, hard to catch up with.
The guys were also participating in Steve Jone's Hollywood soccer team a while ago, dunno if they still do though.

Is there any chance they will be coming back to Columbus. That was a gret show and I would love to see them again with old material and new. How is the new stuff coming. By the way I would love for them to play a set or two after one of our games in Marion, Ohio. We would have to turn people away from the arena.

I was actually just joking. The Chicago Bears had just beat the Green Bay Packers (that's the team I like). That's the Bears logo. AK was just rubbing salt in the wound.
