Hi everybody....If Ray had never become a Door...do you think he would still have been in The Music Business?
If not what profession would he have shoosen do you think?
I think he still would be in the music business in some capacity even if it would have been to produce music for movie scores.....etc.
If he didn't end up doing Film and/or music I think he would have made an excellent professor because of his wondeful communication skills!
But I'm glad he becane a Door and now a Rider!

Well film would be the obvious route because that was his subject of study but then again its a very difficult business to make a stable career in. If he had been a musician I could definitely see himself getting involved with pure blues music. You're right about his communication skills Mary-Beth, they're fantastic. I could listen to him all day

I think I can see him as a teacher/professor and he'd be such an inspiration to his students

I think he would have been involved in both film and music. He is an awesome keyboard player, so I could see him maybe doing some jazz, classical, etc.

Maybe a writer too...

With a guy like Ray and his personality, I think he would have succeeded in whatever he did. I think he would have made a great TV or radio personality. Ray would have made a great politician too. I know I'd vote for him!

Yeah he would be like the 'enviroment polititian' he would be on tv saying:
"We live in this little little ball, man - *makes circles gestures* - this little blue marble in the middle of the universe, the void, the 'wooh-tah-goottah' of the nigerian tribes, we gotta take care of it, man, so vote for me, man, I´ll do the best I can for the human kind.

I just love the way Ray talks.

no matter what profession ray chose had it not been for the doors, i'm sure he'd be active politically, in an activist sense

I do too. He reminds me of someone that's just laid back and easy going.
