Damn!!

40 years old, talk about falling in love again. I ordered "Light my fire" and the "Doors Collection" DVD. It's incredible, I found this stuff 20 years after it came out ( mid '80s) and it is now 20 years after that I just put it in now and am watching it as I write. I can't think of any other music/group that has such a grip on me. TAlk about falling in love again.

On another note, as I write, I have just gotten back from lunch with a friend, downed 2 long island ice teas, been up all night working. I deal drugs for a living :-) pharmacist. Anyway, I just watched the unkown soldier video, really made me think about my nephew who will be shipping out to marine boot camp in a few months. Probably will go to Iraq or the 'stan. Sent chills up my spine.

Welcome to our world.....when I re-discovered them again (I never really fell out of love with them, I jus thad "Life" interfere) it was and continues to be magical and i Celebrate Life fully each and every day!!!It's a beautiful thing...a wonderful existence!

Its almost enough for me to block this website from my computer, lock away all my Doors music, and come back to listen to it 10 years from now. Man, those were the days.
