I liked it because it shows Richard's professional life within the local context of Montreal back in the 40es, but without victimizing nor accusing (even if Richard was more than obviously a victim). Hopefully this movie will go around, cause the microphone is too often given to the "haters" rather than the "seekers". We want solutions, not oil on the fire. This movie shows a part of our history, which is VERY misunderstood and it is told in a way that sure can be criticized, but it is done respectfully and should not be considered as an attack towards anybody, but the story of a victory.
The bilingual version of the movie will be available everywhere in Canada after Chrismas I heard. Ckeck it out, it's definately worth the while.
I tried to find a page in english that tells about the injustice he was victim of because of his origins, but there are none. Got to see the movie...
