“The End” The Death Of Jim Morrison
Bob Seymore

Page 68

It’s now 9:25am. It was at this time that the police arrived, accompanied by a curious neighbor, Monsieur Chastagnol, who lived on the floor below. Chastagnol walked in and saw what was taking place. His memory is of seeing a body on the floor next to the bed. The body was dressed in normal house clothes and did not appear to be wet. Chastagnol says he was told that Mr. Morrison just died, possibly from a drugs overdose. Not wishing to intrude further, he returned to his own flat.

This information had not been mentioned in any of the official statements that I had acquired. Chastagnol statement contradicted the police version of the incident.

Monsieur Chastagnol’s written reply of April 3 1990:

“The police did not ask me to go upstairs with them. I just happened to be going upstairs at the same time as them. I followed them up and went into the flat behind them without saying anything. There must have been three of them. I only stayed about two minutes. The body was spread out full length on the floor, at the foot of the bed, was not wet and was wearing house clothes – not that I paid much attention to that particular fact – it was all very quick.

What time could it have been? Probably about 9 or 9:30 in the morning. It does not mean that he did not die in his bath. I don not know about this; but if that was the case, it would mean that the body would have been dried and dressed before the arrival of the police.”

1- It was not only what Monsieur Chastagnol (his curiosity saved this cat laugh.gif ) saw in the flat but most important what he heard coming from the flat

It was late dawn
The morning would soon arrive with its orange ribbons
as the light hit the curtains of the bedroom.

Monsieur Chastagnol and his wife were already awake, or they awoke suddenly
Some disturbance

What was that?
I don't know
Sounds like guns... thunder.

"Foot of the bed"
Monsieur Chastagnol says

He had been writing
He sought the sun
which was now peeping through the window

Monsieur Chastagnol says it was all very quick laugh.gif
and I don't doubt him

I read something about a drug business deal in Paris that Pam or Jim was trying to do mad.gif Someone was saying something about it in some forum. Something about Jim and Pam being involved in a drug business deal. laugh.gif
For me it's not important to find out if there's any truth in this, because only the thought of it makes me angry. I don't think it's impossible that Pam would agree with such a thing. However, I'm absolutely sure that Jim would have never carried it out. He'd rather die.
For someone who dreams of trimming the flowers in a beautiful garden surrounded by a colorful orchard, the thought of finding some money to lead a quiet life, away from the spotlight, can be a temptation. But for someone like me, who hates business, that would be something of the moment - a moment of despair, anguish, indecision, confusion. However, as soon as my feet touch the ground the horror of commerce (legal or illegal) turns me off immediately.
That's why I don't need to find out if it's true, half true or total nonsense. Because my response to it it's all I need to be sure about anything. And that response, that understanding, comes from the inside of me to complete my reality.

When I have doubts about something I don't think about it a million times trying to find the truth. I just look into my heart. My heart is my source. And that's one of the differences between me and the fans - the fans need to research, investigate, rationalize, use the mind. Because asking their hearts can't give them a sure shot.

The only ill business that I know of is that the son of ex France President Miterrand was selling guns to people. Maybe he sold one to me laugh.gif

I repeat, Jim Morrison would have never carried it out - a drug deal.
He'd rather die.
