Here is some news from http://www.idafan.com/ which for those who dont no is the number one site for doors/riders related news.

This has yet ta be confirmed from the riders management.

A combination of well-known classic rock headliners, many of whom were popular 20, 30 or even 40 years ago, combined with many locally known opening acts, is the formula for the free Molson Canal Concert Series.

The series starts June 27 and continues on Friday nights through Aug. 22. The only exception will be July 4, when no show will be presented.

The concerts will be held in the courtyard of Ulrich City Centre between Main and Walnut streets.

The opening night attraction is Lou Gramm, former lead singer of Foreigner. Other top acts include REO Speedwagon; Nazareth; Blood, Sweat and Tears; and Riders on the Storm, which includes the surviving members of the Doors.

The full line-up is:

June 27: Lou Gramm, with Uncle Plum and 53 Days

July 11: Blood Sweat and Tears, with Joshua James, Will Dailey and Amber Rubarth

July 18: Nazareth, with the Flyin' Blind Blues and Switch

July 25: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, with The Brotherhood and Wanted by the FBI

Aug. 1: Robert Randolph and the Family Band, with Robert Bradley and the Blackwater Surprise, Eric Solomon and Handsome Jack

Aug. 8: Riders on the Storm

Aug. 15: REO Speedwagon, with The Common Kings and Tres Bien

Aug. 22: Jeff Martin with Johnny Nobody and Mother Red

For more on the series, see Gusto in Friday's Buffalo News

NEWS FROM THE OFFICAL RIDERS SITE.

The European dates kick off on July 6, this should be a great run of dates.
It is a good mix of festivals, concert halls and a few intimate venues, a little something for everyone. The high price of everything is sure to keep a lot of people at home this summer, but if you are lucky enough to be living, working, or traveling in Europe these next few weeks, catch a show; it will be a night to remember.

For those of you wondering when you can expect a tour in the U.S., keep checking back as a tour is in the works for September.

LOOKS LIKE YOU FANS OVER THE POND ARE GETTING A TOUR LATER IN THE YEAR.

Finally, of course if anything comes local around my home I'll be at school, so thankfully I'll be catching that performance in Western New York

wow...all I can say is wow:
Love Me Two Times
Break on Through
Love Her Madly
When The Music's Over
Peace Frog
Moonlight Drive
Horse Latitudes (Ray vocals)
Wild Child
Alabama Song
Back Door Man
5 to 1
Who Do You Love/Sex Machine/Touch Me
LA Woman
Riders on the Storm
Light My Fire

What an absolutely fantastic show, clearly Brett is much more comfortable this go around than the last time I saw him in May of last year in New York City. The crowd was large and fantastic. They sang along and being an outside show they had no choice but to be on their feet and dance. A special thanks to Dave (Webmaster) for allowing me the opportunity to get back stage and Tom Vitorino who was a pleasure to talk to and let my friend and I get right next to the stage for almost the entire show. I was besides myself with how honored I really was to receive the treatment that I did. The Riders camp really knows how to treat their fans right

PS-those looking for recordings of the new material...stay patient! wink.gif

rolleyes.gif Well said, Jimbo. I was there!! Finally, in little Lockport, NY. We were honored to have the privilege of witnessing Riders on the Storm. It was a beautiful night and the beer was flowing and the crowd was great. The guys were amazing! I can die a happy girl...

I have seen guys half their age exhausted after two or three songs and I think these guys could have gone all night. I guess its just the rush of performing for a crowd and the love of the music. Please, please, please come see us again...

Thanks for the ride...

It didn't seem planned, they started with the Touch Me beat and Ray started singing Who Do You Love, it seemed to catch Brett off guard so he only sang the chorus. They didn't do the whole song, just segwayed into the "sex machine" section

Here's a positive review:
