This was an awesome show.......from what I heard it cost 4.5 million to produce....so the asking price of 5 mil sounds reasonable if one had the avaibable funds to purchase this "never-before-seen Doors Concert Tribute".........in Dolby 5.1 sound.....some day I'm sure it will surface...it is too bad that "The Doors" Legacey couldn't have continued through this remarkable footage. For those of us that were privilaged to attend this concert you know what I am talking about...and for those of you who unfortunately didn't make it...I do hope one day you will be able to expierence just what I am talking about......it was awesome.....and Jim Morrison did indeed make himself present!

A concert billed as 'A Tribute to The Doors' was filmed at Atlantic City's Trump Taj Mahal in August 2005. The show starred The Doors of the 21st Century along with many guest artists, and was filmed for airing as the debut episode of VH-1 Classic's "Decades Rock Live" series in October 2005. The program was shelved when John Densmore blocked the broadcast by not allowing the synch rights. The original HD master tapes and raw footage have been sold for an undisclosed price to Dan Echino, a Doors fan, collector and music promoter from Calgary, Canada. Because of the ongoing legal issues between members of The Doors, Echino has no immediate plans to distribute or otherwise share the contents of this acquisition. Echino believes that John Densmore is being irrational in his legal efforts to block Manzarek and Krieger from performing as The Doors, and in his refusal to join them.
