Anyone here know what that instrument is playing throughout 'I Can't See Your Face in My Mind' with the fast tremolo/repeat effect?
I've read a few quotes about a Clavinet being used on 'Strange Days', like this one from Ray himself:
"There's all kinds of things in there ... We added a Hohner Clavinet and a harpsichord played through a Baldwin amp, which was wonderful."
I'm guessing one of these is probably what's being played on this song, since nothing else really sounds like a Clavinet and in other places he describes 'Love Me Two Times' as being a normal/acoustic harpsichord. Anyone have definitive info on the instrument/effect on this song? And where the Clavinet/harpsichord-through-amp are on 'Strange Days'?
BTW - I haven't found a FAQ or anywhere that mentions this yet .. but does Ray even read/post on this board? Or is there any other way to get a question like this answered by Ray himself? This is the kind of question that you could waste years discussing, but he could probably tell you off the top of his head .. *g*

I'm not Ray, dont' know about the other song, but Love Me Two Times is definitely a Harpsichord. I pull up a Harpsichord sound on my keyboard and can recreate it exactly. Besides that, I can hear clearly it's a harpsichord and not a clavinet or something else.
