Now I'm pretty open minded.
I'm not sure if the guy does have a slight look of Morrison about him, but kids don't always look like thier parents. Jim was very free and easy with his love in the 60s. I would have beliveved it until he opened his mouth to sing  Problem. Why would he want to sing? I'd be more inclined to believe him if he was a plumber or he liked to knit in his spare time, it's just too contrived for me, he not only sings but he sings Doors songs also  .As soon as he opened his mouth I turned it off.Though just to put my oppinion forward odds on he possably has a child out there, but not this guy

Well, there is an old roman basic law, that says: "In dubio pro reo!" And as long as I don't see a proof of Cliff being not Jim Morrisons son - why should I be such a fool and affirm that he is not? Am I god? No, of course not. So I have to trust in what I can hear and see. And Cliff's voice blowed me away when I first heard it! His behaviour is not that of a crazy guy who only wants to have some publicity to earn a lot of money. He is washing cars, although he once had got published a real good music album. And he doesn't hurt anybody! He only seems to fight for the truth, and that looks very convincing to me.
I don't need to be absolutely sure that he really is Morrisons son. Who ever he is - he is himself, and the fact is that he is a kind, nice looking guy with a great voice, and I would love it if Riders or D21C would perform some concerts with him as the lead singer. I can imagine a realistic Doors sound - and what, people, could we want more???? If Cliff was born some 20 years earlier, he could have met Ray Manzarek at Venice beach and become the "superstar" Morrison who everybody is admiring. And his last name? Isn't America the free country where you even have the right to chose your family name? Doesn't Patricia Kennealy by the same right call herself Kennealy-Morrison? So, why shouldn't we concede Cliff the same right? It is an artist's name, and I say: it's a good and suitable one! Kurt |

There is no way would I want him to perform with The Doors, Ian is just too good to top after Jim sorry, just an oppinion.

Kurt You obviously don't know much about Cliff or his past to say such things about him. He has a very checkered past from what I've read, including what I read from Waylon himself. We all make mistakes, but some mistakes are less forgivable than others. Beyond that, there are some people who never really look for forgiveness in the first place. Truth is...none of us can say for sure either way if he has a child out there or not. We all hear what we hear...all stories because none of us were there. Certainly, no one was with Jim ever day so who knows....
