this has got to be one of the most raved concerts yet by the group thats because everything went right for us fans that night. Close-up, loud, excellent set, great atmosphere. oh, and did I mention the great music? Not a single person went home disapointed from that concert. except for maybe that one drunk guy. |

There was a guy behind the behind the band to the right at the park west show and im pretty sure he was filming most of the time. A live release of the band from this tour would be most excellent! peace |

We have a video of WTMO that starts right before Robby's lead and finishes the song out. It is 329MB. How can I get this large file on here. Most things we tried won't host a file that large. http://www.megashares.com/ try that. |

I really liked the post-morrison Doors material because it was good and catchy and sounded nothing like Morrison-era doors. One song which is dear to my heart is The Mosquito from Full Circle. Does anyone know the tabs/ notes to the song or have any hints to finding it? Many thanks. peace, theelectrickoolaidacidtest |

The the guy was mouthing back at the roadie like hey man it was just a fucking pick. Then he moved back behind Nyree and security came right over and took him away. I saw that guy as well and he totally ruined the vibe. Whoever has pictures and/or audio please post ASAP I want to show my friends how close I was to the stage! I was gonna take pictures but as soon as the band started playing Love me Two Times, that went out the window. Thank you all in advance for the pictures! peace |

This was an excellent concert, probably the best I've ever been to in the short 17 years I've been on this earth and let me say it was worth the 54 bucks I ended up paying to those thieves at ticketmaster. (the 38 that goes to the band leaves my pocket very happily) I was disappointed with the opening act The Bangkok 5 when I was researching them and was pleasantly surprised with Michael Doman who came and played instead and had some powerful songs. He was so good that I bought a CD after the concert for $10. After he left the stage, the stage hands started preparing for ROTS and the Carmina Burana Intro started to play. It was then when I knew I was going to get blown away. And blown away I was, especially, by Mr Brett Scallions who exceeded my expectations by tenfold. First off, the man can sing, and sing he did, after a while the band wasn't going by the set list that the stagehands had taped to the floor and Brett took it like he had been playing with them for years. He also had great stage presence, he connected with the audience, he connected with the band and he made us believe! Ray and Robby were in best form as usual and stole the show but of course didn't fail to make Ty and Phil feel apart of things. (TY DENNIS, PHIL CHEN, ROBBY KRIEGER!SEX MACHINE!) The band played great of course but what reall sealed the deal was how intimate the park west really was. I didn't know how small the venue was when it changed from the Vic. I was standing in the direct middle, second row (wearing the red LA woman t-shirt. Anyone see me?) and had a damn good time. The one thing that I didn't like was that asshole who threw water at the band and probably cost us a second encore featuring the song Riders on the Storm. That was totally disrespectful. But other than that, It was totaly amazing and mind blowing in every possible way. I feel that I have seen the doors in its second best form and that is ROTS! peace. |
